![]() I feel so lucky to get to shoot one of my best long time friends. I am so very happy that my beautiful friend Teri (whom shares an exact birth date with me--- big 3-0 this year huny) found true love with a truly caring, soooo funny and handsome man. Mike and Teri compliment each other well and just seem to mesh as one so easily. They met, (as most do now a days), online about 6 years ago. It all started with innocent online chatting. Mike actually lived in Vancouver at the time.. so the two didn't actually see each other in person for a long time. Soon the trips to visit each other began.. but didn't last long, as Mike knew he met the girl of his dreams and decided to move up to lovely P.G. Three years later Mike and Teri were innocently shopping at the local mall... a jewlery store was having a huge sale and the two decided to take a look. Teri fell in love with a beautiful danty sparkling ring. So over the gleaming lights reflecting off all the diamonds surrounding them, Mike looked at Teri and asked.. "So, you wanna???" Hahaha. ![]() Don't worry later that night,, while visiting Teri's mother, Mike got down on one knee and properly asked Teri for her love. "Thats just totally us" says Teri. "It was funny and perfect" Now with their two gorgeous little girls along for the fun, the big day is just around the corner and it will be a p-a-r-t-y!!! Congrats my friends. You truly are perfect for each other. I cannot wait for your lovely wedding. It will be a blast!!

![]() These three lovely young ladies, Alissa, Taylor and Britney agreed to help me out with a more conceptual shoot to promo Rock the Dress. Kind of like a Wedding Trash the Dress, but geared towards new grads to help them preserve the memory and that "top of the world" feeling that their gorgeous, sparkly and expensive dress represents. Graduation is such a huge milestone and a proud and momentuous moment... why wear that dress only once, then put it away in the closet.... might as well get some wear out of it! So, Grads.. give me a call to book your own stylish fashion shoot! I promise it will be fun and memorable! Congrats to all the new Grads of 2011!!! ![]() Now back to these three lovely young ladies! It was probably one of my most fun shoots I have had! Oooooh the conversations these three shared, I haven't laughed like that in a long time! Reminded me of myself and my besties way back when, when we would play around in front of the camera just for fun! I am a lucky girl to still have my best friends (now more considered soul sisters) at my side.. and I believe these three ladies will also be forever friends for the years to come. All three girls are so beautiful and vivacious in their own way, and could move in front of the camera so well! Made my job easy, not much need for direction.. just had to sit back and push the button.. hahaha ( Thanks Americas Next Top Model) lol Thanks for a great afternoon ladies and I hope to be able to shoot your style and create fun memories for your graduations coming up next year!!! :) ![]() Just had to add in a shout out and add a pic of me and my lovely soul sisters! The best friends a girl could ever ask for! Always there! Love you ladies! xoxox And here we go!!!! Thank you for stopping by my new blog! My idea behind blogging with my photos is to give a bit of a background and a story to each photo session. I am hoping it brings more life and realism to the photos.
So, first up.. a lovely engagement session for a fun loving couple! Adam and Jennifer met while both were working at the local hospital over 3 years ago. Jen took a liking to Adam, so tried to always take her breaks at the same time as him... From there, they started hanging out all the time and then began dating. Jump a few years later.. while on a road trip in Saskatchewan, Adam had a gorgeous ring burning a hole in his pocket, he wanted to stop in the beautiful Icefields on their way home to pop the questions.... But an eager Adam couldn't wait.... so the day before mothers day, Adam asked Jen to go for a walk.. so nervous though, he couldn't get past the garage... so there in the garage he proclaimed his love to his gorgeous expectant lady and he pulled out the ring box.... but Jen was sooo not going to be getting engaged in a garage, so she pulled him out onto the lawn and explained that he needed to get down on one knee. Haha.. Adam happily did and asked her to Marry him! Of course she said YES and both cried joyfully! It was perfect! With their adorable little guy (almost 2, Aydan) hanging out with us too, it was easy to see the love within this new young family. Jennifer always laughing and smiling at Adams constant jokes and Adam couldn’t keep his hands off his gorgeous soon to be bride. It was a refreshing and fun day of photos. I can’t wait until their June wedding! |
